- Hi, I am currently in Newcastle, England for the next year to get my master's in British history. I am very excited about my time here. I focus specifically on Early Modern British history with an emphasis on women and gender. I am hoping to learn more about medieval England while here, and I'm looking forward to lots of travel!!! I am packing right now and I realize I don't have clothes nearly warm enough for England. Sigh. An extra scarf or knit cap you can bring for me would be appreciated. I only have thin, gauzy (and gaudy!) LA clothes! Pity my poor cold bones...
